Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tightener who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is one of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and third-best overall receiver, he has been recognized as the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of yards received, receptions and receptions, among other things.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently employed at FOX's studio. Gonzalez has been a regular guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF from the start of the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The hour-long pregame show precedes FOX NFL Sunday that airs every Sunday beginning at 11 AM ET in the NFL Season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons to a two-year, $14 million contract despite claiming that he would be retiring after the 2013 season. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez aged 37 when he left, spent the last year of his professional career as the NFL most prolific receiver of yards.
